Interpretation

Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the conditions outlined below. These definitions apply equally to both singular and plural forms.

Definitions

• Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where “control” signifies ownership of 50% or more of voting shares, equity interest, or other voting securities.
• Ontario, Canada refers to the jurisdiction in which SugaWax Zone operates.
• SugaWax Zone (also referred to as “the Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) refers to SugaWax Zone.
• Device means any device capable of accessing the Service, including but not limited to computers, smartphones, or tablets.
• Service refers to the hair removal services offered by SugaWax Zone, including in-person treatments, online consultations, and appointment bookings.
• Terms and Conditions (or “Terms”) refer to this legally binding agreement between You and SugaWax Zone regarding use of the Service.
• Website refers to www.sugawax.ca.
• You means the individual or entity accessing or using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our Service and constitute the entire agreement between You and SugaWax Zone. By accessing or using the Service, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree with any part of the Terms, You must refrain from using the Service.

Services

SugaWax Zone provides professional hair removal services including waxing, sugaring, and laser treatments. Prior to your appointment, specific terms such as pre-treatment requirements and post-treatment care will be discussed with You.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to access and use our Service.
• Individuals under the age of 18 may only use our services with written parental or guardian consent.

Bookings, Cancellations, and Refunds

Booking Policy

• All services are offered by appointment only.
• Appointments must be confirmed in advance through our official booking system or by contacting us directly.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a 30% cancellation fee of the service cost.

No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a 50% no-show fee of the service cost.

Late Arrival Policy

If You arrive late and the therapist has another client scheduled, we may offer a shortened version of your treatment or reschedule your appointment. This policy ensures fairness to all clients and protects our therapists’ schedules.

Refund Policy

All service fees are non-refundable unless a significant issue arises that cannot be resolved. If You experience any concerns following your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can evaluate and address the matter appropriately. Refunds, if any, will be issued at our discretion following a case-by-case review.

Health and Safety

• It is your responsibility to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment.
• SugaWax Zone reserves the right to decline or modify services based on health or safety concerns.
• We maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Please follow all staff instructions for your safety and well-being.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• All services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties or guarantees.
• SugaWax Zone shall not be liable for any adverse effects, injuries, or allergic reactions resulting from services received.
• Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by You for the applicable service.

Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and protect your personal data in compliance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). For more information on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Links

Our Website and social media platforms may contain links to external websites or services. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, any content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites. Use them at your own discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content, images, branding, and trademarks used by SugaWax Zone are either owned or licensed by Us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our intellectual property without our express written consent.

Changes to These Terms

SugaWax Zone reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, We will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to the new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
