Why SugaWax Zone

Care That's Personal, Technology That's Precise

Great microneedling results come down to three things: the skill of the person holding the device, the quality of the technology, and how closely the treatment plan is tailored to your skin.

Personalized, Never Templated

We take time to understand your skin history and goals, so the plan we recommend actually fits — not a generic package.

Trained in Collagen Induction Therapy

Our estheticians are professionally trained specifically in needle-depth selection and safe, sterile technique.

Uncompromising Hygiene

Single-use, individually sterile needle cartridges for every treatment, and hospital-grade disinfection between appointments.

Honest Consultations

If microneedling isn't the right first step for your skin, we'll tell you that upfront — not after you've paid.

The Technology

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straightforward answers to what we hear most often — from first-timers and repeat clients alike.

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating natural collagen and elastin production to improve texture, tone, and the appearance of scarring.

Most clients describe mild pressure, warmth, or light vibration rather than sharp pain. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and the Twist device's fast needle action helps minimize discomfort further.

This depends on your skin concern, its severity, and how your skin responds to treatment. Your esthetician will recommend a personalized number of sessions during your consultation rather than a fixed package for everyone.

Most clients return to normal daily activities immediately. Visible redness, similar to a mild sunburn, typically fades within 24–72 hours.

Because microneedling is non-heat and non-ablative, it's generally considered suitable across a broad range of skin tones, including deeper tones more prone to complications with certain laser-based treatments. Your specific skin will be assessed during consultation.

Pricing depends on the treatment area and your personalized treatment plan. An in-person consultation is $25. However, if you decide to book your treatment during your consultation, the $25 consultation fee will be completely waived, and you won't be charged for the consultation. Contact our Woodbridge or Oakville locations for current treatment pricing and to schedule your consultation.

Combining treatments can be appropriate in some cases, but timing matters — for example, we recommend spacing microneedling at least two weeks apart from Botox or filler appointments. Ask your esthetician for guidance specific to your plan.

Microneedling is available at our SugaWax Zone Woodbridge (Vaughan) and Oakville studios. Free phone consultations are offered at both locations.
